EXTERNAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBER

Pam Bigler has served in many nursing leadership roles during her 45 year nursing career. She retired from Carle Health  in 2021 as the Chief Nursing Officer for over 13 years. During that time Carle Foundation Hospital and Clinics were recognized as a Magnet facility for over 10 consecutive years. 

Pam was an adjunct instructor of nursing at Olivet Nazarene College and has also been a guest lecturer at the University of Illinois in the Community Health Program.  

Pam has served as the Board chair for Promise Health, a local FQHC and Champaign Community Health Care Center which offers health care to the non-insured.   

Pam has a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She is also Board certified in Nursing Administration.
